Topanga Night Market

An anything but ordinary farmers market comes to The Village.

Seasonal produce, rock climbing and camel rides? Find all three in one place starting this Friday, September 29, when an untraditional California Certified Farmers Market and family hub called Topanga Night Market convenes at Westfield Topanga. Every Friday starting at 5 p.m., the corner of Topanga Canyon and Victory boulevards will set up stands devoted to organic fruits and vegetables, fresh-squeezed juices, baked goods, dried fruits and nuts, fresh seafood, farm eggs, coffee, tea, prepared foods and fresh-cut flowers.

According to Molly Unger, senior general manager of Westfield Topanga & The Village, “Our community clearly wanted a nighttime experience that included entertainment and other family-friendly activities.” Participating food and drink vendors include Cobblestone Wineries (21+ wine tastings), West Coast Seafood, Churro Stix Food Truck, Cousins Maine Lobster and The Grilled Cheese Truck.

Elements you won’t find at other area farmers markets include a live DJ, free dog valet outside Healthy Spot for pooches under 30 pounds, and a Kids Zone with camel rides, petting zoo and rock climbing wall. Tikes will also have opportunities to take part in arts and crafts and face painting. If you need an additional incentive or just want something to carry your produce, Westfield is providing a free shopping tote for the first 500 guests.
