What do you love about your job?
Making a difference in someone’s life and lifestyle and creating wealth for our clients is very satisfying. We work almost completely by referrals, and many of our clients have become lifelong friends. It’s also been very gratifying to help the next generation. Our clients are our best advertising! Here are some of their words:
“This is my fourth transaction in eight years with Gil and Marilyn. When my father passed away two months ago, Marilyn stepped in and found a crew to not only remove 70 years of belongings but also saw that it all went to charities we all cared about. They priced the house right and artfully managed multiple cash offers. There were many hiccups in the process, and Gil is a master at keeping things on track. They are nice people who are great at their jobs.” – Robert
“Gil and Marilyn are the best! This was our first home-buying experience, and they helped us through every step of the process. They were always available and knowledgeable and put our minds at ease during an otherwise very stressful time. We’re so happy in our new home!” – Cody and April
“You worked so diligently, professionally and expertly—making yourselves available every step of the way, even with the many hurdles we encountered. You kept our spirits and confidence up with your positivity and optimism. We would recommend you to anyone in need of a top-notch agent in the most important transaction in life.” – Nancy
What are the biggest opportunities in the market this year?
With the large baby boomer population of people in their 70s and 80s, senior housing is a great opportunity. We help seniors downsize, which takes organization, patience and understanding. We often are their cheerleaders and their psychiatrists. By planning ahead, we can help them make the move while independent living is still an option. With increased equity in their homes, they can invest in moving to senior communities that offer active living. When all is done, they forget about the difficulties and thank us for helping give them a new lease on life. It’s a very rewarding experience.
Any advice for buyers and sellers?
For buyers, it’s not all about the mortgage rate. A home is still the best investment. Marry the house and date the rate. Sellers have established substantial equity in their homes over the past few years. Let us help you invest that equity in rental properties—the perfect way to create wealth.
