Bella Skin Institute is a full-service dermatology and aesthetic surgery practice directed by Dr. Anna Guanche—a board- certified dermatologist with more than 15 years of experience. The Bella Skin team cares for all types of skin conditions but places special emphasis on the areas of cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery.

Tell us about your staff.
“Our staff has been nicknamed the ‘derm dream team’ for good reason. Our estheticians have more than 30 years experience collectively. The medical assistants are caring, experienced and understand patient needs. Our physician assistant, Ananda Fidani PA-C, trained at USC in the master’s program, and our patients love her! We have brought Wendy Kao, PA-C, on board; her eye for detail allows for decreased wait time and more thorough care for patients.”

What is your area of specialty?
“We offer a full range of cosmetic procedures/devices to enhance the appearance of the skin and reverse signs of aging. We best serve our patients by giving them optimal, specific treatment, rather than trying to recommend the same treatment for everyone.”
What concern do you frequently hear from patients?
“That they look natural after their aesthetic treatment. Our practice provides treatments that are well-planned and administered in the safest, most conservative way to ensure a natural look and minimal down time. At the intersection of proper evaluation and counseling, pretreatment care and an artistic eye is where optimal results are achieved.”
How do you give back to the community?
“Bella Skin Institute donates to various local charities, including ACT Today, local schools and the Dermatology Foundation—a charity that supports innovative research projects, enabling advances in patient care. Bella Skin Institute also donates to the American Society for Dermatologic surgery charity organization.”
What innovations can we expect from Bella Skin Institute?
“I have created a non-invasive facelift, the GuancheLift™ and have advanced the areas of microbotox and microfiller techniques using Aquagold Fine Touch. I authored a book about beauty, Seven Days to Sexy, that will be available soon. It is a guide to looking and feeling your best in seven days, seven weeks and seven months.”
