Anita Rich & Donna Mann

Broker associate Anita Rich and Realtor® Donna Mann both work under the umbrella of Compass—a residential real estate and tech firm. Combined, the two offer clients more than six decades of real estate experience.

Why is real estate such a profitable, stable market in this country?

Donna: “No matter what the current market trends may be, homeownership has always proven to be a good long-term investment. It provides not only a home but builds equity as property values increase.”

Why would someone choose to work with you?

Anita: “In addition to my dedication to my craft, I stand behind what I believe in to offer a win-win approach. My integrity dictates that I do the right thing. My customers can trust that I’m always operating in their best interest.”

What traits are required to be successful in this industry?

Anita: “You have to be flexible, responsive, a little thick-skinned, and have a good sense of humor and a passion to deliver on what is often one of life’s largest investments.”

Donna: “Successful agents are able to connect, understand and reconcile their clients’ needs in a way that always places those interests first.”

Give us some top tips for improving curb appeal.

Donna: “The first impression of any home should be neat, clean and uncluttered: a fresh coat of paint on the front door; clean windows and a tidy driveway; attractive exterior lighting; a well-maintained front lawn; and colorful plants and flowers.”

Anita: “Less can be more. Make sure the homes’ exterior, including gutters and roof, are in good condition. A buyer’s eyes often go directly to problems, so make sure they are taken care of before they have a chance to spot them.”

What relocation assistance do you offer?

Anita: “I have been involved with major companies’ relocation programs, so I have an information package on specific areas, local stores, libraries and schools, public transportation and details on each area’s real estate markets.”

Donna: “Being a homeowner in the Sherman Oaks-Studio City area for more than 40 years, I can help clients acclimate to all that the area and surrounding neighborhoods have to offer, including shopping, restaurants, parks, schools, museums, libraries and places of interest.”
