This Studio City pub is a favorite place for British and Irish ex-pats mixed with locals. Traditional pub fare includes fish and chips, shepherds pie, bangers and mash, and special for St. Patrick’s Day: corned beef and cabbage that can be enjoyed inside or outside on the wrap-around patio. The fun starts at 10 a.m. with beer promotions and free swag, plus live music in the evening. This Van Nuys pub will get it going at 8 a.m. Start off the day with a traditional Irish breakfast served until noon: bacon, sausage, grilled tomatoes, eggs, baked beans, black and white pudding. Chow down on corned beef and cabbage, Irish stew and sandwiches. Guinness, Smithwick’s and more are on tap. This pub is a fave with Irish ex-pats, and there’s a real Irishman manning the bar. This family-friendly Encino eatery will serve traditional food, including corned beef hash, corned beef and cabbage, shepherds pie and Irish stew, along with the regular menu and all-day happy hour. And just for St. Patrick’s Day they are having live bagpipers day and night, with no cover charge, along with drink specials of Guinness and Jameson.
