Ca Del Sole
What makes it special: The street-side patio off Lankershim Avenue is encased in high stone walls and filled with tables under trees with select cabanas. You’ll feel miles away, so envision being on an Italian holiday. The dishes on the menu are even written in Italian.
The menu: Ca Del Sole is featuring an eclectic menu designed especially for this day that includes pan-seared jumbo sea scallops, Hamachi sashimi, lobster bisque, homemade ravioli, poached eggs with prosciutto and black truffle, eggs with lobster meat and chocolate cake brûlée.
The price: $45 per person for three courses

Inn of the Seventh Ray
What makes it special: Known as one of the most romantic restaurants in Los Angeles, Inn of the Seventh Ray sits in the middle of Topanga Canyon under a forest of trees next to a babbling brook. Its storied history goes back to the Chumash Indians—who are said to have used it for a meeting place—and then as Aimee Semple McPherson’s private retreat, Topanga’s first church, a feed store and a junkyard. The present owners purchased the property 40 years ago and turned it into a restaurant.
The menu: The regular Sunday Brunch Buffet is even bigger for Easter, with naturally-dyed Easter eggs, seafood bar, salad bar (regular, raw and vegan), fruit bar, bagel bar, waffle bar, pastry bar and dessert bar (vegan too).
The price: $55 traditional menu/$45 vegetarian menu (includes one glass of champagne or lemonade)

Malibu Café at Calimigos Ranch
What makes it special: This restaurant off Kanan Road is in the middle of Malibu wine country is set in a country ranch that’s 130 acres and over 65 years old. The restaurant sits in the middle of the property with a small lake and ducks nearby. Sit outside at the restaurant or on the lawn area under umbrellas. Get there at 11 a.m. for the annual Easter egg hunt.
The menu: It’s the regular Sunday brunch menu full of eclectic choices, including salads, a classic eggs benedict, smoked salmon benedict, chilaquiles, brisket hash, grilled cheese, chicken and waffles, challah and banana bread French toast and a burger topped with a fried egg on a brioche bun.
The price: Entrees range from $9 to $24 (with an average of $14)

Saddle Peak Lodge
What makes it special: The building off Malibu Canyon in Calabasas is more than 100 years old and has an unmatched history in the 818 as a former roadhouse, pony stop, hunting lodge—and bordello. The interior still resembles a hunting lodge, while the patio sits among the canyon trees.
The menu: Three courses with three to five choices per course. Featured dishes include: ahi tuna salad, house-smoked Scottish salmon, heirloom tomato salad, eggs benedict with applewood smoked bacon, sliced leg of lamb sandwich, brioche French toast, roasted prime rib, chocolate-coffee pot de crème, and banana huckleberry bread pudding with Tahitian vanilla ice cream.
Price: $55 per person, $30 for children 12 and younger (choice of two courses)
