But no amount of trailblazing or success provided peace in Don Cornelius’ golden years, which were tragically cut short at his Sherman Oaks home.

Councilmember Tom LaBonge joined with the Valley-based non-profit Food Forward to dedicate the Franklin Canyon Orange Grove Park. The 9.8-acre vintage grove is now part of the Department of Recreation and Parks—all made possible by a private donation.
