The migration of “city” food and drink to the Valley continues with the opening of Seventy7 North (the first location is in Culver City) adjacent to Rocco’s Tavern in Studio City.

Enter this cocktail lounge/eatery  through a wooden door which reveals a candlelit courtyard with a red light bulb overhead that sets the mood. The interior is stylized like a 20th century speakeasy with tufted leather booths, vintage velvet wallpaper and luminous light fixtures. Imbibe in handcrafted cocktails with a full bar serving a selection of bourbon, whiskey, scotch, rum, gin, vodka and tequila, as well as various bitters and syrups.   The menu selections include: The Signature Sesame Shrimp & Truffle Fries, Candy Striped Beet Salad, Asagio Burger and Handcrafted  Thin Crust Pizzas . It's a perfect location to grab a drink or enjoy late night dining — open until 2 a.m. nightly with orders taken until 1 a.m.

Seventy7 North is the sixth Los Angeles  establishment by the same group that produced Rocco’s Italian Kitchen,  Rocco’s Tavern restaurants, Seventy 7 Lounge in Culver City  and  901 Bar & Grill in the Downtown/ USC neighborhood.  Seventy7 North, 12514 Ventura Blvd., Studio City
