LIFE IN BOOBS @ Upstairs at Vitello’s Supper Club

This is a workshop of this energetic show which highlights the trials and tribulations of boobs with amazing original songs, comedic vignettes and dramatic monologues. From the awkward stages of development, through motherhood, and struggles with breast cancer, boobs profoundly shape a woman’s journey and many of her awkward memories! For mature audiences, this show will bring tears to your eyes and laughter in your belly. A portion of the proceeds of this show will be used to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research when produced for live audiences.
Rachael Lawrence has boobs. She has worked as a vocal coach, musical director, composer and songwriter/producer in Los Angeles for almost 20 years. She is proud to have worked on many projects including being the in-house vocal coach for Fox’s “Glee” and ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy (The Music Event)”, On-Camera Coach for Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz, Rebel Wilson’s personal vocal coach for the “Pitch Perfect” movies. She has musically directed shows in Los Angeles, at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the University of Southern California, for The Troubadour Theater Company and most recently, known from the group NKOTB, Joey McIntyre’s workshop of “The Kid”. As a composer and songwriter, Rachael has written musicals for the Garry Marshall Theatre (previously The Falcon Theatre) in Burbank and is also co-founder of PTP Music, a songwriting and production company with many original song placements in film and tv. She has also taught voice at the University of Southern California in both the BFA and MFA Theater departments.
Casey Christensen has been a writer, director, producer and actress for over twelve years. She co-wrote and directed Hard Sell which she hopes to develop into a series, as well as the stage productions of Hot Pants, Cold Feet (at the Comedy Central Stage), Exploring Dementia! along with Will Matthews whom she performed and produced his original Daddy Didn’t Die, Did He? which received a Fringe Virgin award and a double extension. Working with Ryan Lonergan she co-wrote and produced Skate Great! She’s excited to bring Life in Boobs to life for women of all ages and backgrounds and is proud of this phenomenal cast for all their honesty and openness for this work.
A Chicago native, Jennifer Goodman is an actress and mother currently living in Los Angeles. Jennifer loves to make people laugh and is currently working on a web series, “It’s Goody’s World’ based on her life. Life in Boobs is Jennifer’s passion project and she’s excited to share it with the world!
