Michael Celenza (drums) a multi genre percussionist who also composes music. He toured with the 2nd Chapter of Acts and various “country” bands out of Nashville such as The Forrester Sisters. He holds a BA in jazz performance from the University of Miami, and a MA in percussion performance from Stephen F. Austin St. University. During his career, he led jazz bands in New York, Miami, Dallas, and Los Angeles. Currently, he is the instrumental director at Loyola High School of Los Angeles where he teaches keyboard/band, and also directs the jazz band and pep band. Rob Garland (guitar) has been writing, performing and teaching music for over 25 years playing hundreds of shows in the U.K and U.S. He graduated from Canterbury Christ Church College with a BA and is influenced by “everyone from Joni Mitchell to Frank Zappa.” He has performed sessions at Los Angeles studios such as Revolver and The Village Recorder and co-writes music for Bad Robot. Musicians Rob has worked with include Jimmy Haslip (The Yellowjackets), Tony Newton (Tony Williams) and Gus Thornton (Albert King). He is a published author and guitar instructor for TrueFire with a classroom, channel, and instructional courses. He is endorsed by Bogner Amps, Xotic Guitars, D’Addario Strings, Hell Picks & Moody Straps. He continues to compose and release his original music fusing jazz with rock, blues and funk. Jeff Snow (woodwinds) is a multi-instrumentalist who graduated from the University of North Texas with degrees in performance and music theory. He currently resides in the Los Angeles area performing regularly in local venues. Jeff has performed with such notables as Chick Corea, Stanley Clark, Billy Sheehan, Mark Isham, and Chaka Khan.
Chris Coulter (bass) is an accomplished jazz musician and educator who grew up in the San Francisco area. He performs regularly in the San Francisco Jazz Festival, Monterrey Jazz Festival and San Jose Jazz Festival. Chris has toured with various jazz groups throughout France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Argentina. He has performed with many notable jazz musicians such as Alex Acuna, Abraham Laboriel, Russel Ferrante, Dirk Fischer, Justo Almario, William Kennedy, and Ritchie Garcia. He is very active in the Los Angeles/SanFrancisco music scenes performing with various jazz groups, theater companies, and working in local recording studios. Mr. Coulter is also on the music faculty at College of the Canyons, East LA College, West LA College, and Glendale College.
Ben Armentano (keys) graduated from the University of Bridgeport, Ct. with a BA degree in Music Composition. He has performed all over the US and Canada and has performed with such artists as jazz guitarist Larry Coryell, former Doobie Brothers drummer Chet McCracken, guitarist Tim Bogart, and former Chicago guitarist Chris Pinnick. He has opened for such acts as Fourplay, Spyro Gyra, Grover Washington Jr, Airto and Tower of Power. He has written songs for and produced many artists, and his music can be heard on YouTube/Ben Armentano, Reverbnation/Ben Armentano and Soundcloud/Ben Armentano. Ben currently lives in Los Angeles, Ca where he performs regularly and teaches private piano lessons.
